Lianne is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at North Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) degree as well as a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree.
Lianne is passionate about working with adults, teens and children ten and above who are struggling with grief, life changes, anxiety, depression and emotional stress. Within these difficult seasons, Lianne is particularly drawn to supporting individuals navigating family adversities such as co-parenting, relationship dissolution and betrayal. As a dedicated mother of three elementary aged children, Lianne empathizes with the challenges often experienced in parenting. With a background in education, she also understands the struggles faced by children and teens. Lianne’s blend of professional expertise and personal insight allows her to offer a safe environment where children can explore their emotions and manage the complexities of growing up with confidence and resilience.
Lianne practices from an integrative approach to therapy using several modalities. These are tailored to meet her clients’ needs while focusing on their strengths, exploring practical solutions, and developing effective coping strategies to address challenges. Collaboratively, Lianne is dedicated to helping her clients achieve freedom and positive change in their life, providing unwavering support every step of the way.
