Social Worker, Psychotherapist & Yoga Teacher

I value individuals and their unique stories and circumstances. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy as humans are complex. I offer an integrative approach that adapts to each client and works from within the client’s perspective and contextual experience. Most importantly, I believe that a safe, non-judgmental and strong therapeutic alliance is the essential foundation for personal growth and healing in therapy.

I use an integration of body-based psychotherapy techniques – Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE) – to support clients during their self-growth and healing journeys.

I support clients through various techniques and tools which help to create a comprehensive plan to help you to find balance and peace in your daily life. My approach to therapy meets you where you are at and helps you to achieve a sustainable lifestyle that fosters peace and balance in all four energetic bodies (physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual).

I specialize in working with Adults and Children/Teens aged 12+ dealing with the impact of trauma and stress in their lives, anxiety, depression and a wide range of other mental health difficulties. My areas of interest include working with individuals struggling with the result of occupational stress (front line health care workers, teachers, etc.) as well as first responders.

I have a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from McGill University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) from King’s University College at Western University. I am also a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance.
